Based on the outcome of this weekend’s world championships and her place as the top US female in pentathlon, Sheila will soon be announced by USA Pentathlon as one of two women representing the US in Beijing.

This is a very momentous moment considering Sheila will be the first athlete ever to compete in a third Olympic sport: first swimming (gold medal, swimming, 1996), second triathlon (2000 and 2004) and now pentathlon.

Sheila has poured her heart and soul into this qualification process. She has consistently demonstrated her unparalleled natural athletic ability and her passion and spirit make any dream achievable.
