2010 has already proved to be a stellar year for the 8-year-old golf phenom – bringing home her first win of the year this past weekend! While Latanna is used to winning, this event proved particularly special, as Latanna competed in her first two day, 36 hole event at Sugarloaf Mountain golf course – without a caddy.

She played in the 10-12 Young Women Division, taking home first place with a combined score of 181. The temperatures stayed in the high 40′s both days with winds at 20 knots.

Never wavering in courage or strength , focus or determination, Latanna went on to win in some of the coldest temperatures golf is in played, not to mention for an 8-year-old!
