BACKGROUND

Gretchen Bleiler is one of the most accomplished female snowboarders in the world. In addition to being a three-time X Games Gold Medalist, Gretchen won the Silver medal at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino, Italy.

A pioneer in the world of women's snowboarding, Gretchen was the first female to land a Crippler 540 in competition. She was the first ever action sports female on the cover of ESPN the Magazine, and has recently launched her own signature line of clothing with Oakley. It's also the first time Oakley has done this with an athlete.

Gretchen is an active spokesperson in the fight against global warming, working closely with StopGlobalWarming.org, building awareness around this important cause.
