BACKGROUND

Kara Lynn is one of the fastest sprinters in the world, and is currently in pursuit of a spot on the 2008 Olympic team.

The University of Georgia senior is coming off a history-making performance at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships in March 2007 where she won both the 50 and 100 yard freestyle events for the fourth consecutive year.

With 18 national titles, Joyce finished her collegiate career as the second-most decorated athlete in NCAA history and only the second swimmer to win four consecutive titles in two events. She is the American record-holder in the 50 yard freestyle (21.63) set at the 2006 NCAA Championships as well as the American record-holder in the 50 meter (scm) freestyle (24.21) set at the 2004 NCAA Championships.

At the University of Georgia, Kara Lynn was coached by 2008 Women's Olympic Coach Jack Bauerle. She will continue to live in Athens, GA and train with Jack for the next several years.
