- Kim Vandenberg is one of the fastest Butterfly swimmers in the world (presently ranked 2nd), and is currently in training for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
- 2007 Silver Medalist at FINA World Championship in Melbourne
- 3rd fastest 200 meter butterfly swim ever by an American Woman. All-time, top two, Mary T. Meagher and Misty Hyman, world record holders and Olympic Gold medalists
- The University of California, Los Angeles graduate is a 16-time NCAA All-American and won the coveted team “High Point” all four years of her eligibility.
- Kim’s freshman year at UCLA she was named PAC-10 “Newcomer of the Year”
