In what proved to be a competitive early-season contest, Brian Fleischmann and Sarah Haskins were victorious in USA Triathlon’s first Elite Development Race of 2010 Sunday at Lake Louisa State Park.
Fleishmann outdistanced a field of 35 men with a time of 53:22 in the sprint distance race, which consisted of a 750-meter swim, a 20-kilometer bike and a 5-kilometer run. (read more)

Ex-Torrey star wins San Dieguito half; Major tops women
While Daniel Farmer was running away with the San Dieguito Half Marathon on Sunday, an Ironman Triathlon preview broke out behind him.
